KIEV, Feb. 23 – The Federation of Ukrainian Trade Unions (FUTU) will decide on the possible start of protests no earlier than two weeks after holding "conciliatory" negotiations with the Cabinet of Ministers, said Vasyl Khara, FUTU head and Regions Party MP.
"In accordance with the law on the settlement of collective labor disputes, a conciliatory procedure is currently being held. We form conciliatory commissions equally represented on both sides [representatives of trade unions and the Cabinet of Ministers], and we should conduct this stage in order to prove to the Cabinet of Ministers the accuracy of our judgments and our criticism regarding the implementation of the clauses of a general agreement," he said.
