KIEV, Feb. 16 – AvtoKrAZ holding company (Kremenchuk), the only truck producer in Ukraine, plans to produce 2,600-3,000 trucks in 2009, down from 2008’s 3,634 trucks.

"The KrAZ truck production issue for 2009 has been drawn up, and foresees production of 2,600-3,000 trucks. This level is enough to retain production and positions on the market," the holding's director, Serhiy Sazonov, told Interfax-Ukraine.
