KIEV, Feb. 13 - Ukraine's Chornomornaftogaz and China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) have signed a memorandum that allows the Chinese side to take part in a project to build a gas pipeline toward the Odessa gas deposit off the Black Sea's coast, Anatoly Prysiazhniuk, chairman of the Ukrainian company's executive board, told a news conference in Simferopol on Friday.

"This month, we have held talks and signed a memorandum with China National Offshore Oil Corporation as part of an intergovernmental treaty between Ukraine and China," Prysiazhniuk said.
