KIEV, Feb. 10 - Ukraine reduced oil production 7.1% to 253,100 tons in January 2009 compared to January 2008, the Fuel and Energy Ministry told Interfax.

Gas condensate production fell 6.2% to 94,500 tons in January.

Naftogaz Ukrayiny enterprises reduced oil production 4.5% to 235,700 tons in the period and gas condensate output 7.3% to 84,800 tons. UkrNafta, in particular, reduced oil output 5.8% to 222,100 tons and gas condensate production 3.6% to 26,800 tons.
