CHISINAU, Jan. 28 – Moldova is ready to sign a contract to buy Ukrainian electricity, if long-term supplies are guaranteed, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Trade Igor Dodon said in Chisinau on Tuesday.
He said that Ukraine, which supplied electricity to Moldova from 2006 until the end of 2008, had claims against Moldova regarding the inflow and outflow of electricity, although last week Chisinau and Kiev settled all problems, and showed readiness to cooperate in future.
