KIEV, Jan. 19 – The Ukrainian cabinet has approved a plan for the development of telecommunications in Ukraine until 2010, according to an announcement of the State Communications Administration.

According to the release, the decision was made on December 27, 2008.

The document, in particular, foresees the creation of modern broadband multi-service broadcast systems on the basis of common protocols compatible with Internet protocols.
