KIEV, Jan. 14 – Ukraine will present a feasibility study for the Odessa-Brody oil pipeline, designed to pump Caspian oil to Europe, at a meeting in Brussels within several weeks, President Viktor Yushchenko said.
"Today, I am optimistic about this project as never before," he said at a press conference in Kiev.
He said that this optimism is based on the fact that "there is Caspian oil in the Black Sea waters," which is in real demand both in Ukraine's eastern regions, in annual volumes of 4.5 million tons, and in Europe, particularly the Czech Republic.
