KIEV, Jan. 14 – President Viktor Yushchenko has expressed alarm over the pace of replenishment the revenues target of the general fund of the national budget, which during the first 10 days of January 2009 was estimated at UAH 400 million less than year-over-year.

"The figure that alarms me very much is the revenues part of the general fund of the national budget. Over 10 days of January it was UAH 1 billion, which is 10% of the January target," he said on Tuesday at a meeting with Ukrainian Finance Minister Viktor Pynzenyk and the governor of the National Bank of Ukraine Governor Volodymyr Stelmakh devoted to budget issues.
