KIEV, Jan. 14 - Ukraine cannot provide Slovakia with its domestically produced natural gas because Ukraine itself does not have enough gas, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said at a meeting with her Slovak counterpart Robert Fico in Kiev on Wednesday.

Slovakia is facing an acute shortage of gas, Fico said.

"In 12 days, we will be forced to take measures that are unprecedented for Slovakia," he said.
