KIEV, Dec. 25 – The volume of the media advertising market in 2009 will fall by 14%, to UAH5.83 billion, according to a research of the All-Ukrainian Advertising Coalition (AUAC).
According to the group, this year the market grew by 17%, to UAH6.78 billion, instead of a planned 25,% because of a fall in the fourth quarter and a lower share of political advertising compared to 2007.
According to the forecast of the AUAC, the most significant share in advertising will be the share of TV advertising, but in spite of this in 2009 it will fall by 10.6%, to UAH2.415 billion compared to the 14.4% growth in 2007.
