KIEV, Dec. 25 – Krasnoyarsk mining and chemical combine (Russia) has informed Ukrainian nuclear energy company EnergoAtom of plans to increase rates of its spent nuclear fuel removal and storage services by 16% in 2009, EnergoAtom director for economic issues Mykola Rachyn said at a meeting of Ukraine's National Electricity Regulatory Commission on Thursday.
"We've set the bid price at UAH335 million, however, Krasnoyarsk mining and chemical combine asks UAH390 million. The contract has not been signed yet, negotiations are currently under way," he said.
