KIEV, Dec. 25 – Bogdan Corporation, one of the largest players on the Ukrainian car market, might fire some 2,000 of its current 10,000 workers as of the next year.

"So far the corporation has not dismissed any worker, we have only optimized the staff, but in January but the prospect of layoffs in January is realistic," Serhiy Krasulia, the corporation's press secretary, told Interfax-Ukraine.
