KIEV, Dec. 24 - Ukraine's national nuclear power generating company EnergoAtom has formally announced its plan to build a third and a fourth power unit with pressurized water reactors at the Khmelnitsky nuclear power plant.

The Fuel and Energy Ministry estimates that the construction of the units will cost UAH15 billion.

A joint statement by EnergoAtom and the Kiev Research and Design Institute Energoproekt, the general designer, was published in the Uriadovy Kuryer newspaper on Wednesday.
