KIEV, Dec. 4 – President Viktor Yushchenko is very alarmed at the situation in the provision of the economic interests of the state in the exploitation of natural deposits, the presidential press service has reported.

In a letter to Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, the president said that the present law is imperfect, as it hinders the development of the geological sector and creates grounds for the inefficient use of deposits, while the absence of proper controls by the state leads to many violations of the law in the sphere.
