KIEV, Dec. 3 – The peak of the economic crisis in Ukraine will be in Q1 2009, and its consequences will be felt for at least two years, according to the president of Konsol Ltd. firm (Simferopol, Crimea), Volodymyr Konstantinov.
"I think that the crisis curve has not reached its lowest peak. The key upheavals will be in Q1 2009, when thousands of people will loose their jobs, payments to the national and local budgets will fall. The consequences of the crisis will be felt for at least one year. We can be optimistic due to the fact that the prices of real estate have started growing in the United States, where the crisis began," said Konstantinov.
