KIEV, Nov. 21 - Dyckerhoff Zement (Germany) is mulling the possibility of halting production lines at its Ukrainian cement plants, Yugcement (Mykolaiv region) and Volyn-Cement (Rivne region) to wait out the economic crisis, Dyckerhoff Ukraine Director General Otto Lose htold Interfax-Ukraine.
"Cement production is characterized by production cycle regularity, therefore we can't consider a radical change in the work regime at the group enterprises. So we're mulling the possibility of stopping some production lines, as we have several lines at each plant," he said.
