KIEV, Nov. 24 – Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko on Monday ordered the start urgent talks with Gazprom after the Russian natural gas giant threatened to cut gas supplies to Ukraine, citing a dispute over gas debts.
Oleh Dubyna, the head of Naftogaz Ukrayiny, the national oil and gas company and Ukraine’s chief negotiator on gas supplies, was ordered to “urgently” send a team to Moscow for the talks.
