KIEV, Nov. 11 – Ukrainian car producers believe that to overcome the crisis in the car industry, which affects the country's balance of payments, the state needs to allocate $300 million in financial assistance for the stabilization of the producers' financial position.

This proposal is contained in an auto producers' statement addressed to President Viktor Yuschenko, which was discussed with him at a meeting on Monday.
