KIEV, Nov. 11 - Ukraine increased electricity output 1.1% to 160.134 billion kilowatt hours in January-October compared to the same period of 2007, the Fuel and Energy Ministry told Interfax.
Nuclear power plants (NPP) reduced electricity output 2.8% to 75.226 billion kWh in the 10 months, while thermal power plants (TPP) increased production by 3.8% to 68.705 billion kWh. Production at hydroelectric power plants (HPP) grew 16.1% to 9.553 billion kWh in the period.
