KIEV, Nov. 4 – The Ukrainian government may become the largest shareholder in Prominvestbank by the end of the current week, according to Oleksandr Shlapak, first deputy presidential secretariat head.

"The president insists that by the end of this week or even quicker... the problem of Prominvestbank be settled," he said at a briefing in Kiev on Monday.
