KIEV, Oct. 31 - Eurocar, which produces Volkswagen automobiles in Ukraine's Trans-Carpathian region, is cutting production by 50% due to a significant decline in demand.

"Production depends on demand and due to the sharp decline in sales during the economic crisis in Ukraine, a decision has been made to cut production," said Eurocar CEO Oleh Boyarin.
