KIEV, Oct. 31 – Fares for public transport in Kiev will be raised on Nov. 4, head of the Kiev Metro municipal enterprise Petro Miroshnykov said.

"An order will be published [Nov. 1], and new tariffs will come into force from Nov. 4," he said at a briefing on Friday.

"I want to note that there would be no surprises. We will report any rise in fares in every way possible one or two days beforehand," he said.
