KIEV, Oct. 30 – The Ukrainian economy will start to recover after the crisis in the second half of 2009 and will return to the pace of 5-6% of economic growth from the middle of 2010, according to the National Bank of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers.
"The recovery is likely to start in the second half of 2009. We should return to a pace that matches our assessed potential [5-6%] by the middle of 2010," according to a memo agreed by the NBU and the government with the International Monetary Fund.
