KIEV, Oct. 28 – Declines in business activity on the office market in Kiev could lead to a decrease in rent rates, Radomir Tsurkan, the manager of the Ukrainian office of CB Richard Ellis international company, forecasts.
"In conditions of instability and uncertainty, a company will strive to cut its expenses. Therefore most companies are likely to significantly decrease demand for office premises in 2009… Most of all, this concerns high quality premises of A and B+ classes, which are in the highest category of rent rates (from $60 per one square meter a month and higher)," the press service said, citing Tsurkan.
