KIEV, Oct. 28 - Standard & Poor's Ratings Services has lowered its long-term ratings on six Ukrainian local and regional governments and affirmed those on a seventh following the sovereign downgrade.

At the same time, S&P removed the ratings on six of the entities from CreditWatch, where they were placed with negative implications on Oct. 15, 2008.
