KIEV, Oct. 23 - Ukraine's steel industry may reduce output of long and flat products 11.8% this year to 28.8 million tons, Andriy Fedoseyev, president of the Ukrainian Metal Traders' Association, told Interfax.

Fedoseyev said metal consumption in Ukraine was likely to fall 7.1% this year to 9.2 million tons. He said exports of the main types of roll would probably fall 10.3% to 22.3 million tons, while imports soar 28% to nearly 2.7 million tons.
