KIEV, Oct. 21 – The majority of individuals' deposits in Ukraine is under the ceiling refund for individuals' defaulted bank accounts, according to the head of the National Bank of Ukraine, Volodymyr Stelmakh.
"UAH50,000 [the existing ceiling refund] covers 98.3% of deposits," he told the press on Monday after a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council, commenting an initiative to increase the ceiling refund to UAH100,000.
