KIEV, Oct. 17 – Ukraine International Airlines has no near-term plans to discontinue flights or cut the number of employees due to the financial crisis, UIA President Yuriy Myroshnikov has told the press.
"We don't see a need to do this, as UIA today has high enough figures of productivity and an efficient and optimized flight network. However, we cannot exclude this option, as everything will depend on the pace of development of the crisis, and the extent of its impact on the Ukrainian economy and the economies of the countries we fly to," he said.
