KIEV, Oct. 17 – There is a high probability that Kiev-based Prominvestbank might be bought by a large Russian bank, according to experts from Ukrainian investment companies polled by Interfax-Ukraine.

However, Sberbank of Russia is not a likely buyer, taking into account the political implications of one of the largest Ukrainian banks coming under the control of a Russian state bank.
