KIEV, Oct. 13 – Problems of liquidity at individual banks will not directly affect the total level of banking liquidity, according to experts polled by Interfax-Ukraine.
"There won't be a situation of falling dominoes in the Ukrainian banking system. Only those banks that are now having to pay off foreign loans in considerable volumes will have temporary problems with liquidity. Those who manage to cope with the situation will improve their solvency and start working in a normal way," Khreschatyk Bank Chairman Dmytro Hrydzhuk, said.
