KIEV, Oct. 7 - Ukraine increased electricity output 2.3% to 145.342 billion kilowatt hours in January-September compared to the same period of 2007, the Fuel and Energy Ministry told Interfax.
Nuclear power plants reduced electricity output 3.5% in the nine months, while thermal power plants (increased production by 7.6%. Production at hydroelectric power plants grew 15% in the period.
