KIEV, Oct. 6 -- Moody's Investors Service has assigned a Aa1.ua national scale rating to Metinvest B.V., a steel and mining company, which has been derived from the recently assigned Ba3 corporate family rating.

The rating scale provides a ranking of relative creditworthiness (including relevant external support) in Ukraine and uses Moody's globally recognized rating symbols, modified with a '.ua' marker.
