KIEV, Oct. 3 - Russia and Ukraine will sign an agreement on prices and volume of imports of natural gas in 2009 within the next month, Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said Friday.

Tymoshenko said Russia’s failure to secure supplies of Central Asian natural gas has delayed the agreement, since Gazprom was supposed to re-sell the Central Asian gas to Ukraine.
