KIEV, Oct. 3 – The State Railway Administration of Ukraine (Ukrzaliznytsia) effective Oct. 3 suspended a scheduled rise in tariffs for metals and mining product shipments by rail in Ukraine.

"Transport and Communications Ministry agreeing with Economy Ministry has decided not to increase tariffs. We'll suspend the indexation of tariffs from 0000 on Oct. 3," deputy director general of Ukrzaliznytsia, Viktor Chorny, said on Thursday.
