MOSCOW, Oct. 2 – Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said Thursday it was “funny and comical” that his Ukrainian counterpart, Yulia Tymoshenko, had been recently questioned by prosecutors investigating the poisoning of Viktor Yushchenko.

Russia, which hampered the investigation for years, recently granted the Russian citizenship to Volodymyr Satsiuk, a former top Ukrainian security official and the top suspect in the case. This makes his extradition to Ukraine impossible.
