KIEV, Oct. 1 – The Coal Industry Ministry has started talks with leading banks and investment companies on the attraction of UAH3.1 billion for technical re-equipment of state coal companies under state guarantees, according to First Deputy Coal Minister, Oleksandr Frantsishko.

"Banks and investment companies showed interest to the program. We expect that these funds will be raise this and next year," he told the press after a meeting with investors in Kiev on Tuesday.
