KIEV, Sept. 29 - Kernel Group, one of Ukraine's largest sunflower oil producers, has confirmed its plans to build a new oil refinery in Mykolaiv region with a processing capacity of 510,000 tons of seeds per year, which would allow the group to almost double its processing capacity.

According to a report made on Monday by Kernel Holding S.A. (Luxemburg), which controls the group's assets, at the Warsaw Stock Exchange, the launch of the new refinery, which will process various oil-bearing crops, is scheduled fro fall 2009, while in May 2007 the group planned to launch it in May 2009.
