KIEV, Sept. 29 - Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko will travel to Moscow on Oct. 2 for talks with her Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, over natural gas supplies, the government said in a statement Monday.
The released statement comes hours after Tymoshenko said she plans to sign a gas agreement later this week.
“I hope I can agree with the prime minister and government of the Russian Federation, with Gazprom, and this week I will leave for Moscow to sign all documents concerning natural gas supplies,” Tymoshenko said.
