KIEV, Sept. 26 – Parliament has adopted a law setting special "green" tariffs for electricity and heat generated by alternative energy sources.

A total of 359 out of 426 MPs registered in the hall supported the law on amendments to the law on energy and the law on alternative energy sources.

According to the document, the "green" tariff is a special tariff, under which electricity generated using alternative energy sources is bought (apart from furnace and coking gases).
