ALUSHTA, Sept. 23 – In 2008, the number of defaults on bonds issued by construction companies will grow to 14-15, compared to six last year, according to the director general of the Credit-Rating agency, Stanyslav Dubko.
"Last year, there were six defaults. This year we have seven, and by the end of the year we expect another seven or eight. These are defaults in the construction financing sphere," he said at the eleventh annual PFTS stock exchange conference, which finished its work in Alushta last weekend.
