KIEV, Sept. 19 - The Ukrainian government plans to leave oil and gas production royalties unchanged in 2009, according to the draft 2009 budged recently submitted to Parliament.

The government is currently charging 1,530 hryvnias ($315.4) in royalties per 1 metric ton of oil and gas condensate extracted from the depth of less than 5,000 meters, and 566 hryvnias per 1 metric ton from oil wells deeper than 5,000 meters.
