KIEV, Sept. 16 – Ukraine's real GDP growth in 2008 will be 6.8%, according to Concorde Capital Investment Company analyst Andriy Parkhomenko.
"We stick to our forecast at 6.8% of real GDP growth in 2008, and believe that the slow in industry and other sectors will be compensated by a rise in the agricultural sector," the analyst said.
The expert said that in August 2008 GDP growth was only due to a rise in agriculture.
