KIEV, Sept. 16 – The draft 2009 national budget drawn up by the government foresees a 104.5% rise in foreign loans, to UAH 16.56 billion, and a 76.9% rise in domestic loans, to UAH 13.76 billion.

According to the draft, which was submitted to the parliament on Monday, the considerable growth was caused by a jump in payments for the debt – by 3.7 times for foreign debt, to UAH 8.54 billion and by 3.5 times for domestic debt, to UAH 12.57 billion.
