KIEV, Sept. 10 – Ukraine International Airlines is alarmed by the situation on the Ukrainian aviation fuel market.

"In the light of the considerable fall in the price of oil over the past month, UIA sees a very favorable trend for a reduction in the price of aviation fuel in Europe – by 20% on average. During the past year, the price of aviation fuel was cheaper in Europe than in Ukraine. In Ukraine the price of aviation fuel has not changed, as it is seen in the Boryspil, Simferopol and Odesa airports, or fell by only 2%, as it was in Lviv, despite the good [price] trends in the world," UIA president Yuriy Myroshnikov told Interfax-Ukraine.
