KIEV, Sept. 8 - Growth in industrial prices in Ukraine in August slowed to 1.8% compared to 3.6% in July and 4.2% in June, according to the State Statistics Committee.

The committee said that since the start of 2008, the prices of industrial producers grew by 36.5%, while the government forecasted its growth at 31.2% in 2008.

The committee said that annual growth in industrial prices accelerated to 46.9% compared to 46.3% in July 2008.
