KIEV, Sept. 5 - Bogdan car plant, part of the Bogdan Corporation, in January-August increased car production by 94% year-on-year, to 61,478 cars, Bogdan spokesman Serhiy Krasulia told Interfax-Ukraine.

For the period under review, 25,363 Hyundai cars were produced (2.7 times up compared to 2007), 18,977 Kia cars (80% up) and 17,138 Lada cars (47% up).
