KIEV, Aug. 26 – The first stage of the restoration work in the flood-hit regions has been nearly completed, said Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko opening a temporary bridge over the Bystritsa River in Ivano-Frankivsk region.
Tymoshenko noted that the motor service in the flood-hit regions has been nearly restored within a month.
According to the premier, 1,200 kilometers out of 1,250 kilometers of motor roads destroyed or damaged by floods have been restored. The motor service to all the 160 settlements had been restored by the Independence Day, she said.
