KIEV, Aug. 26 – A decree of the Transport and Communications Ministry increasing tariffs on railway cargo transshipments could lead to a stoppage of Ukrainian oil refineries, Dmytro Zverev, deputy director general of TNK-BP Commerce Ltd., told Interfax-Ukraine.
"The consequence of the increase in the tariffs would be a fall in production volumes by all Ukrainian oil refineries, up to the stoppage of refineries with the worst consequences not only for the fuel market, but also for the economy as a whole. Fuel producers would not receive expected earnings," he said.
