KIEV, Aug. 21 - Ukraine's National Association of Meat and Meat Product Producers (Ukrmiaso) has suggested to the government that beef exports to Russia be suspended due to a shortage of beef on the Ukrainian market.

"Perhaps a decision needs to be made to suspend [beef] exports," Ukrmiaso Chairman Volodymyr Popov said at a cabinet meeting in Kiev.
