KIEV, Aug. 21 - The Kharkiv Appeals Administrative Court in Ukraine on Wednesday ruled in favor of the British oil and gas company Cadogan Petroleum Plc, allowing it to appeal against an earlier June 17ruling by the Poltava Region Commercial Court on the Zahorianske drilling license, according to a statement released by Cadogan on the London Stock Exchange.
On Aug. 13 the court delivered a similar ruling on an appeal regarding the Pirkovske field.
Nadra Ukrainy reported on July 21 about the expiration of special permits for the Pirkovske area and the Zahorianske field issued to OJSC Astrogaz and OJSC Astroinvest Energy respectively, which were founded by Cadogan Petroleum Plc.
